The Sigma Community Enrichment Initiative, Incorporated (SCEI) was formed in 1997 as a non-profit tax-exempt organization affiliated with the Chi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. SCEI is organized for the purpose of fostering youth mentoring, education, scholarship, and community enrichment programs for the betterment and enrichment of communities in the greater Northern New Jersey area. One way in which SCEI accomplishes its mission is by focusing efforts on the Sigma Beta Club program.
Over the past 10 years SCEI and Chi Sigma Chapter has given awarded over $30,000 to deserving Minority Seniors who are pursing higher education. In keeping with our tradition of recognizing academic and civic excellence, we invite you to join us as we celebrate the achievements of five new scholarship recipients.
