On behalf of the Sigma Community Enrichment Initiative Inc. (SCEI) Board of Directors I would like to welcome you to our virtual home! As SCEI celebrates over 20 years as the non-profit arm of the Chi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., we are proud of the legacy of SERVICE and MENTORSHIP that we have helped to support.
We believe that for our youth to be successful you should first be solidly supported, taught academically, morally, and socially — then held accountable. In addition, we further believe that for you to be successful, we must reverse the destructive
effects of the negative influences of some peers and the world around you.
Because of this belief our mission is to provide youth and young adults facing adversity in Northern & Central NJ with strong, enduring, professional service and mentoring services that will change their lives for the better. This belief drives every initiative and partnership we undertake. Through our various affiliations and community partnerships we have direct access to a pool of 100+ professional, college educated Men of Color that are strategically used to impact the lives of the Young Men of
Color that participate in these programs as well as the facilities and resources to implement WORLD CLASS programming
at the grass roots level that impact our youth.
